Can't find the Sacunay's around here so I will have ot wait until either a trip to Colorado or I order a pair and hope it is the right size. Try number one got me the Nike Mojo 7's, I need stability support and ended up with a nice feeling neutral so I tried ot run in them, got 2 miles and had hot spots and starting to get blisters I returned them for these the Asics GT2150.

Now a quick update I am just finishing BRM which is middle of week 4 and the hours suck and the runs are worse. typically there are 4 groups seperated by run time but by the time we end there is like 6 groups and the B group hasn't even made it out of the 8 min mile pace yet.

I am starting to enjoy this as I believe my PLT is going to receive the high BRM ( highest qualifying score ) and Marksmanship ( most qualified on a decided day ) about 30-40 of my 60 person PLT has qualified with 2 Experts ok now I am off to the gym

Today was long and boring except when smoking joe that is always fun. But i had to listen to some Major talk about how to properly run and how you need to use the middle of your foot and never to push off because you are defeating the purpose and when you are running it should look like you are falling forward, none of witch I have ever heard of or tried. I just figured run using the balls of your feet and maybe roll from inside to outside if need be but mainly use the balls of the feet and to run faster reduce the time your feet touch the ground. Am I wrong or is there something i am missing here....

New Shoes

The first shoe is the Saucony Pro Grid Hurricane 11, I checked on this brand because Brownie recommended them to me. I have read that they are narrow.

The next pair is the Nike Structure Triax 13 the NEW in this series but I read that Nike has messed up on these new ones.

The last pair is the Nike Structure Triax 12. These are the ones I got from the Colorado Running Company and I enjoy them but haven't been able to find my size here yet. Any suggestions on what to get?

So here I am sitting here in Lawton OK. Finally got into my unit so far everyone seems rude but that could be because I am the new guy oh well. I am on my Permissive TDY right now and will be when my unit picks up on Tues. NOTE: This will be the first class as a female integrated BCT at my new Unit. So I can get you all updated on my going on's starting with week 2 of the 10 week basic training. I am going to strive to update this thing at least every few days this year. This way Brownie can delete his normal message of "You finally updated this thing" By the way Good luck on getting into Hardrock again this year. The only down fall I have seen here so far is they believe they are better than the other 2 BCT units here and demand that all NCO's go to monthly, quarterly boards, Drill Sergeant of the year competition and the Audie Murphy club board. I hate boards I just want to train these people and relax for my 2 years

So I make it to the start point. Where the pack does not show up until like 5 til start time. While waiting on the rest of the pack ( 12 ) I am offered a beer that is soon followed by the statement, "we only drink good beer here, you'll never see use drink anything like PBR." Initially I am taken back but drive on. As I meet the members I am questioned on my name and then hear that the Kimchi is a wild bunch to hash with. A hasher named Nantucket something or other, remembers running with the few who traveled to Albuqurcee enroute to Tex-Mex which this hasher also attended. We finally start trail, first part is layed via tossing flour out the window of a truck. There were 2 beers stops a turkey eagle split which only took you to the high ground thru a cemetary. At the end the circle was very short even with a naming. Fun group over all, went down town for a on after where we hit a bar that was serving Natty Light bottles for a dollar, as they bought Heineken I got me some Natty, as most bars here do not have PBR and I have lost the taste for Yuengling. Next Sat. is their Halloween Pub Crawl so we will see how that goes.

I am offically off of leave man this day sucks. Back to work on tues. only 5 1/2 months until my next school. Hopefully I wont have to do crap at work, of course it is going to take this long to organize all of my shit at the house. I finally got my computer working again and virus free now i need to get some more memory for it but only 1 Gb more because it can only handle 2 GB or so gateway says. Running sucks but not as bad as treadmills, either i don't fit or just can't run on the damn thing.

Well I finally held up my share of the bet i lost like 2 years ago to Brownie. Now either Brownie or Not So Silent Bob actually have those pictures.

I want to thank all of those that came and joined me on my birthday or called ( Donnie The Retard ) now we are getting close to my first Kimchi Hash back not to mention that I am going to be haring this trail. Net I am buying a hoodie at this trail so get to me before I start drinking as you remember from last week it may not take long.

I hope we have a big turn out for this thing.

Other than that not much going on except for being pressured into taking another riders saftey course so I can ride my motorcycle. It has even went so far as to be threatend to not be able to ride but for fuck sake if you can't stop people from wearing earings on post while they are off duty how do you expect to stop people from riding their bikes. There is my vent for the week.

Ok so being bored I decided to do cardio. It looked really bad. However I did hit my goal for the morning so I guees that is a plus.
Calories burned: 500
Miles: 3
Time: 36:33
Weight: 230lbs
That time frame actually beat what I had expected as I set the machine to 45 minutes cause earlier in the week it took me just over 40 minutes to hit 500 calories.
I did not stop with the goal being reached, I still had time to go so I cranked up the machine to the hardest level and started working down. So with the remaining times I still managed to crank out another 100 calories and still had 1 minute to spare for cool down. Now I just need to improve on these goals with faster times. Since I am trying to get my 2 mile time down to a smooth 15:30 and I am sure Ol Brownie has a few ideas and tricks to help me reach this goal.

The interesting thing about this tour considering a trip to Mexico and months away from the gym at a time I still have lost 12 lbs. and 4 inches off of my waist line. My ultimate goal would be to drop to 200-205 and a 37-38 in waist. Only another 30 lbs. and 2 inches to go!!

I am so bored that I am almost ready to start counting the days until I get to see you all again. Looks like it'll be a Peak's weekend trail as the first possible trail for me to hit but we'll see. Still working to beat Brownie's 21 time, of course I can max push up's and sit up's so all is still well. Still working on the cardio thing but it gets boring and rather uncomfortable being it is a smaller machine. Man I bet I die when I go for my first run in the springs. Oh yeah GO STEELERS!

Well that old familiar John Denver song is being played over the speakers in NC. Pat White is the first player in COLLEGE football history to win 4 straight bowl games as a starter ( not a record any PITT player can claim ), and for the 2nd time in 4 years West Virginia has went into somebody elses backyard and beat them in a bowl game. So now we shall see what Mr. Pat White does in the draft or where he goes, some people suggest that he will end up being a receiver but who knows.

In other news I have hit a new record in my own area, I put up 265lbs. The most I had ever lifted, maybe in the next month and a half I could hit the 300 club but that might be pushing it. Nothing else really going on here other than ready to get the fuck out of here.

Oh in Pro football news I hope to see Carolina play Pittsburgh, mainly cause yes the Panthers are my team and the Steelers are my other team or my AFC team but also because Brownie loves the Steelers and I think the Panthers can beat them.

WVU vs PITT WTF

So no shit, I am trying to get this out before Brownie does a post. Aside from the biased penalty calls in the first have, still plan on destroying the ref's houses ( Just Kidding ) you can almost say WV got out played. PITT dominated much of the first half then WV came out firing on all cylinders in the 3rd, unfortunatley they couldn't convert on 3rd down. Really who runs on 3rd and 11 on their own 20 with the lead that is seperated by just a touchdown. My suggestion for the WV coaching staff start all the 3rd string guys fuck the seniors who quit playing it seems. oh and fucking fire Bill Stewart too. waste all your time outs with 3:30 left in the game what a bitch, he needs to go back to being a assistant coach or better yet a goffer ( go fetch me some coffee bitch ). The only person attempting to play well on that team was Pat White and he has some records he needs to extend the lead on like 1 more passing or rushing touchdown, to have 100 touchdowns accounted for by 1 player ( currently 1st in the big east ) and the most rushing yards by a quarterback in the NCAA. PITT can't claim any of those honors, however hats of the slim Shady for leading the either PITT or the Big East I can't remember in most touchdowns in a 2 year season. Well thank god I actually didn't get a bet made with Brownie on this years game however I still need to make good from last years lose. So Fucker congrats and there is always next year.

So Brownie wants to call me out and point out the fact that I haven't posted or commented on anything because of WV losing this past week. Well hats off to you, PITT beat a team with 5 turnovers I would hope they could win. So now there is a 3 way tie in the Big East that drops atleast 1team this week. Bitter sweet it would be if the 2 teams would be WVU and PITT playing the day after turkey day.

I have inside sources that tell me Thannksgving dinner should be good for us here complete with prime rib and real turkey meat not something they call turkey that looks like it should be used as a hocky puck not served to our fine soldiers.

More recent news we received a common sense packing list of things we should take back with us in our bags, for example winter PT's well NO SHIT it is going to be mid Feb early Mar in Colorado.

As of this post the IH2009 is looking out of the question because of my current school date however if the Kimchi travel to BFE I'll be there for that one.

Well since Brownie was so looking forward to this post I might as well send it out right. In a message from Brownie he claimed that UCONN was going to roll over WVU, it looked as if that might just happen leading 13-7 in going into half time but Brownie my friend if you had been paying attention to what is being said about the mountaineers you would have known that going into this game WV led opponents 42-7 in the 3rd quarter, the only team to score was ECU. With 1 touchdown drive early in the 3rd WV took the lead and then the D stepped in forcing 3 turnovers 2 of them resulted in touchdowns, then a 4th quarter run by Pat White secured the game at 35-13 with WV scoring 28 unanswered points. In other news PITT barley beat the over rated team on the fighting Irish and it only took 4 overtimes. WV now has a 2 game conference lead over the rest of the big east however there are some tuff games ahead, Cincinnati, @ Louisville, @ PITT, and USF. and with the majority of all the top 15-25 teams losing WV should firmly be back in the top 25 and if they can maintain the course a BCS bowl game bid.

It is hard to act humble at times like this. For weeks Brownie has been talking about PITT being ranked in the top 25 for the first time since forever and that they are riding high on top of the Big East, sorry about your luck but somebody silently passed you by my friend with confrence wins of Rutgers & Syracuse and then the big win over Auburn the Mountaineers are back in this thing and after the defastating defeats of both ranked teams PITT 54-34 against worst record in the Big East Rutgers and USF 24-20 against Louisville. Wow did the mighty Dave just get overwelmed with the fact that he was starting to have a winning record in his entire coaching history or was it that PITT couldn't withstand the pressure. I say who cares WVU is no riding high as the #1 team in the Big East, that title is only 5 games away with projected wins over PITT and finally USF it is very possible. Brownie don't get upset and complain just accept it and drink some more. My challenge is still out there for the final WVU - PITT fan bet think about it

Well folks the John Denver song Almost Heaven is blaring loud in the streets of Morgantown WV tonight. WV started the second half of the game down 17-10 and finished 34-17. Auburn allowed the most rushing yards of the season during this game with Noel Devine racking up 207, 1 TD on like 16 carries. I hate to admit it but PITT needs to continue winning so in 4 weeks WV can knock them out of the rankings, the rest of the season is all conference games with UCONN, Cincinnati, Louisville, PITT, and finishing with USF. WV may not be in BCS contention but the Big East is not out of the picture.

After being ridiculed by Brownie about the proper spelling of the Pirmanti Bros restaurant I decided to look it up and see if it had a web page. It did disappointing me was the fact that it had only 1 picture of their badass sandwiches. After looking at the store locations I am sure Brownie only made it to the one in Oakland after slumming at club Stratus and never ventured out to the original one. I have eaten there and trust me don't ask for the fries on the side my friend almost got us kicked out for that. So there credit is given where credit is due.

In other news I ma trying to fight off an illness, seems everyone here is getting the flu or some shit might be the drastic change in temps 120 down to 90 who knows. Well folks let me be the first (at least in my mind ) to put it out there. WVU lost 24-3 ok got it, ECU just played better football and the start of this problem, Pat White trying to show off probably for the camera and let go of the football as he dove out of bounds, anybody who watched the game will tell you he didn't drop the ball he basically laid it down. Maybe PITT will lose again to cheer me up who knows but after lossing so many starters it may be next year or the year after before WVU runs rough shot over the Big East again. Then again they generaly lose 2 games a year and if I was a betting man and occasionally I am I would say the next and only loss will be to USF and there is still a BCS bowl game in the near future. Me and some co workers have a fantasy football league and I am stoked being this is my first time trying this, my current goal is to not come in last place, I have put my faith in players from Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Washington, with a Defensive player from Dallas. I ma also looking forward to the WVU - East Carolina game. I will be the first to admit Villanova is a weak school I mean come on this was their first year for football and after what ECU did to Virginia Tech I think this will be a good game. Ok so here I am sitting in Iraq and bored as shit. I've4 got alot of things going through my head like, "Where do I go from here?" See the dilemma is simply this, I have been looking into dropping a green to gold packet but first I have to get accepted to a college and that college is UCCS, however this means I will have to get a part time job to make ends meet for the next 3-4 years and just what would I be able to do? Here is what I have done currently updated all my info and even emailed my branch asking for a new job hopefully in a school house somewhere, I want ot play both sides right now just incase I don't get into the green to gold program. I have recently gotten back into the gym after not seeing one since leave, I forgot how shitty cradio was when you only have an olymptical to use. Since there is no beer I ma trying to spend 2 hours in the gym a day with a break every 5th day will this help me shed some weight and get back to a 12:45 2 mile I would hope but I wont hold my breath. Some great officers that i currently or used ot work with are going to be teaching Principles of Military Science, life would be great at this school only REAL problem with that is they are going to be teaching at Brownie's beloved PITT. So fuck that.

With nothing else to do after my first real breakfast in about 3-4 months I started researching for the upcoming college football season, already ranked #6 the West Virginia Mountaineers are looking promising 17 starters returning, Big East Champs 4 out of the last 5 years and top 10 3 years in a row. I think this is the year for the Mountaineers to reach the top spot in the nation. They already have promising assesment in 2 of the latest pre-season football magazines. I personally believe after WVU beats Aburn and Colorado it will boost their standings and move them towards the front, for another run at finally playing for the National Championship

This is the bed/ loft I made to have somewhere nice to sleep and work. Seriously I can walk under this thing and NOT hit my head. It seems that my bed is actually almost 7-8 feet in the air, no jumping straight out of bed in the middle of the night.On the underside there is my computer desk area and shelves on the back so I have space to move around and relax while watching movies.Note the writing on the rail. the Kimchi Compound #2.

I am looking for help. I need to add another internal hard drive on my laptop, preferably 250 or bigger, the reason behind this is my 250 external is starting to not be recoganizable on the computer and that has alot of info that I need on it. Also I would like to upgrade the ram though fast my laptop still runs alittle slow. So if you have any suggestions or know somebody that can give me this kind of info the laptop is a toshiba satellite A215-S7422, please help I am desperatley not trying to lose any of my info. Items compatible would be great.

Ok so I understand no booze but for christ sake why the imitation wine and near beer, the only thing near to beer in near beer is it makes you piss alot. A simple bet was made for the WVU vs PITT game on Dec 1st. If WVU wins, Brownie has to hang a WV flag ( I have 2 here you can use) at his new apartment and take a picture standing beside it, if WV losses I would acquire a PITT t-shirt and have my picture taken wearing it, although it isn't the 2 pitchers of Artic beer as last time (because he wont be here) but still a reasonable bet and Brownie has not accepted.

Back from vacation

Wow what a treat, back from beautiful WV, drank lots of beer, shot a deer (5 point), and even enjoyed 2 dollar Jack and Cokes the night before I left for home. Wow what a fun few days. I stayed so far out in the country that it was 5 miles to the closest store, no cell phone signal, yet I was at home.The guy in the black cowboy hat owns a bar in Pittsburgh called slap shots, and the guy in the white hat is my friend Roger and Tattooist. The guy in the Pitt hat is Rogers brother Allen, great guys to know growing up.

I think I have won the record for worst blog updater ever. I finally got around to getting a new password so i can get back on to this thing. Honestly did any of you take a pitcher from Jim's on sat. I just received a call from the manager and they are missing 3 from saturday and we seem to be the prime targets. If somebody did in fact walk out with a pitcher contact me either here or by phone so I can get it back. The mason jars are one thing but we don't need pitchers that bad in this hash.

So there I was no shit, stuck in class on monday, come home plan to relax write some on my blog, but instead the phone and internet was out, got somebody to come fix it for me on tues, well still no good got the phone but no internet I mean come on, this is how i relax, so finally it works and I wanted to say hi, any wow are we getting hooked up for saturday, not sure what the plan is for the first stop but at TNT's it is VIP treatment my friends, turns out this guy at the good ol' Neighborhood Lounge films professional porn, and gets to hang out with all the hot chicks, so he is trying to take care of us, and if none yuns mind we may have some private dancers for later on in the evening now I understand this means seeing the same girls strip atleast twice but it can be fun, So if any of us can remember this night it will go down as one of the best hashes in Kimchi history, but first is the pre-lube at Brownie's

Really WTF, since when does rush hour start at 3:30 in the afternoon, I mean hell i spent all day listening to some air force dude talk abouyt how lame Osan and Yongsan was and about some ALP shit,,, did I mention I relize now why I quit school I hate math and the class I am in is chalk full of it. So in 2 days we go from 2.01 for gas to 2.09 and that is bullshit why couldn't it wait until I filled up to raise the price, oh and since I am on the subject of things that piss me off right now, how about driving the damn speed limit not 20 MPH under it some of us do have jobs, wow I think I may like this blog stuff Ifeel better, of course it took me practicaly all day to realize how to post a new message was going to see who all was going to Artic tonight and I woulda brought over the happy coats, so if you ordered one and will be at artic tomorrow night let me know and i will make a stop in.
